From Spring to Summer

Life happens...Milestones, birthdays, papers, projects…sometimes these things can consume my life. Priorities shift. I can get boggled down with stuff and when I look up…time has flown!It’s June…June! Half of 2014 is gone. With all of that being said, I realize that sometimes you have to spend more time focusing on things that may not seem as fun or engaging, but are yet and still important. And that’s okay. I’m learning that occasionally I have to deny myself momentary pleasures for the greater gain.

The Jacket I Wore in the Snow...

Snow Days equals days off. Sometimes. It might be the only thing I love about winter. Well, I generally like snow (if I'm home) and LOVED building snowmen with my siblings. My sister didn't have such fond memories. She told me just last week that she is disgusted by the cold and always has been. As she talked, the memories of frozen fingers and toes became vivid in her mind...as her children, home from school, begged her to go outside...and play...in the snow.

Sharlendipity in Review...

Can you believe it's 2014? I'm still trying to figure out where December went, let alone 2013! It's been quite a while since I've been able to post and share with you all and it has been such a busy couple of months. One of my favorite things about the holidays, in addition to spending time with family and friends, is the time that I get to refocus, regroup, and prioritize things that are important. That also includes the things I enjoy...crafting, blogging, cooking...the list continues.
